Rules, controls and help for Sevens

Read the position before choosing your next action. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. The game area remains available above the explanation. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.

Give this approach a try

The example and rules describe the same game you can play above. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end.

The goal to keep in mind

Read the position before choosing your next action. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.

A walkthrough of the rules

  1. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.
  2. The holder of 7♦ must play it first. Other suits can open with their own seven.
  3. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end.
  4. Play a legal card whenever possible. Passing is allowed only when no card fits.
  5. The first player with an empty hand wins the round.

Choosing and moving on screen

Take a moment to check the current turn. Tap an enabled card from your hand. The suit rows show cards already played. Use Pass only when it is enabled. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.

Work through an example

The board gives you the information needed for the next action. After 7♥ is opened, 6♥ or 8♥ can be played. 5♥ must wait until 6♥ is on the table. The game area remains available above the explanation.

Where a round can go wrong

Read the position before choosing your next action. A matching rank in another suit does not extend an existing row. Every suit has its own sequence. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.
